Pre-Construction Estimator Benefits:

Pre-Construction Estimator Qualifications:

  • BS Project or Construction Management.
  • 8 to 12 years of construction estimating experience, cost control, or quantity surveying.
  • Lead bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategy.
  • Experience with Sage Estimating is a plus.

Pre-Construction Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Examine architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents.
  • Identify potential cost drivers, construction challenges, and opportunities for cost-saving.
  • Analyze project information, gather data, and prepare cost estimates for various aspects of a project, from material costs to labor and subcontractor bids. 
  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
