Job Title: Associate Financial Advisor
We are looking for a driven and client-oriented Associate Financial Advisor to join our growing financial advisory team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in building and managing a personal book of business by developing targeted marketing strategies, converting leads into loyal clients, and delivering customized financial planning solutions.
The ideal candidate is goal-focused, process-savvy, and passionate about helping individuals reach their long-term financial objectives through tailored investment, insurance, and planning strategies.
Associate Financial Advisor Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Marketing
- Design and implement a strategic marketing plan focused on a defined target market.
- Build a consistent pipeline and convert prospects using a consultative, ethical sales approach.
- Maintain a prospect-to-client conversion rate of 80% or higher.
- Comprehensive Financial Planning
- Establish trusted client relationships and gather in-depth financial data.
- Analyze client needs and develop customized financial plans.
- Present recommendations and oversee implementation.
- Regularly monitor progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Product Recommendations
- Recommend appropriate investment and insurance solutions to meet goals related to retirement, estate planning, tax efficiency, and business continuity.
- Client Service & Relationship Management
- Prepare for and conduct client meetings using CRM tools.
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries and proactively follow up.
- Manage portfolio rebalancing and maintain cost basis tracking.
Associate Financial Advisor Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services with client-facing responsibilities.
- FINRA Series 65 or 66, and Series 7 or 63 licenses required or in progress.
- Strong foundation in financial planning principles and investment products.
- Experience with tools like MoneyGuidePro™, Morningstar®, Excel, CRM systems (e.g., GoldMine), and Wealthscape℠.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
