Operations Manager – Customized Power Equipment Manufacturer
Fast Track to Plant Management | Lean Transformation Leadership
Our client, a growing manufacturer of customized power equipment, is expanding fast and looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead the way.
This is a high-impact role with a clear path toward Plant Management. Ideal for candidates experienced in Engineered-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing and Lean Transformations.

What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- 7+ years in ETO manufacturing (switchboards, switchgear, circuit breakers preferred)
- Experience leading plant turnarounds and Lean Manufacturing efforts
- Strong ERP skills (NetSuite a plus)
- Proven success in managing safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics
- Experience overseeing custom manufacturing processes like fabrication, assembly, paint, and testing
What you’ll do:
- Lead day-to-day plant operations: fabrication, assembly, testing, shipping, and more
- Own production schedules, warehouse, and logistics
- Drive Lean initiatives and implement process improvements
- Track and report key performance metrics
- Mentor supervisors, technicians, and operators
- Partner with QA to improve quality and reduce defects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and internal safety standards
