Are you a seasoned litigation leader ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a Head of Litigation to lead and expand our firm’s personal injury litigation practice. In this pivotal senior role, you’ll oversee complex, high-stakes cases from inception to resolution, manage a high-performing legal team, and contribute to the strategic growth of our litigation department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of attorneys and support staff within a collaborative, results-driven culture
- Develop and execute winning litigation strategies for personal injury cases
- Oversee all phases of litigation, including pre-trial motions, depositions, hearings, trials, and settlements
- Provide expert legal guidance and strategic counsel throughout the litigation lifecycle
- Manage your own caseload and maintain strong client relationships
- Partner with firm leadership on department goals and long-term strategic planning
- Stay ahead of developments in personal injury law and ensure compliance with legal best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in California
- Extensive personal injury litigation experience with a strong trial background
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Deep understanding of litigation processes and ability to implement strategic plans
- Unwavering commitment to legal ethics and high-quality client service
- Experience with mass torts or class action litigation
- Board certification in Personal Injury or Trial Law
- Familiarity with legal tech and case management systems
