We’re hiring a skilled and highly organized Studio Operations General Manager to oversee daily functions and team leadership at a sophisticated creative studio in Brooklyn. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in elevated, design-forward settings and understands the nuances of supporting both high-profile clientele and a talented creative staff.
About the Role
As the Studio Operations General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind smooth, consistent daily operations. You’ll lead front-of-house teams, ensure a top-tier client experience, manage scheduling and logistics, and maintain alignment with the studio’s high standards. The role also involves close collaboration with executive leadership to support the studio’s artistic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the front-of-house team across two locations
- Oversee daily workflows including client appointments, artist support, supply coordination, and cleanliness
- Resolve complex customer service issues with professionalism and discretion
- Maintain consistent communication with leadership around staffing, scheduling, and system improvements
- Ensure high operational standards through SOP enforcement and tech/tool optimization
- Support team development through hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance feedback
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7 years of management experience in upscale environments such as boutique hospitality, premium retail, or luxury wellness spaces
- Strong background in client service, team leadership, and daily operations
- Experience working alongside creative professionals is a plus
- Detail-oriented and self-directed, with strong follow-through
- Ability to manage shifting priorities with grace and clarity
- High emotional intelligence and a proactive, communicative approach
