We are seeking a Sous Chef who is an excellent cook and natural leader with a passion for scratch food to join us in launching our exciting new casual concept restaurant opening this summer!

Restaurant Sous Chef Responsibilities:  

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Ensure all operations of the kitchen are optimal and executed to plan
  • Maintaining high levels of food quality, hygiene, and consistency 
  • Support the team to execute tasks on time with enthusiasm
  • Mentoring and teaching others techniques
  • Ability to manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge while promoting culture and values 
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments in the hotel as needed
  • Comply with all county and state laws governing food service operations 

Restaurant Sous Chef Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Scratch Mid-Volume Restaurant Sous Chef Experience
  • High energy, takes initiative and has a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed 
  • Must be passionate about food and executing consistency
  • Understanding of labor controls and food costs
  • Must be passionate about cleanliness and food safety
  • Must be highly organized and communicate well up and down the chain of command
  • Open to working days, nights, and weekends
