We’re hiring an Executive Chef to lead the opening of a new upscale sports bar in Greenville, SC. This is a scratch kitchen with a set core menu and space to flex creativity through specials. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, systems-driven, and passionate about leading teams with humility and urgency.
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Launch and lead kitchen operations for a high-volume, high-expectation opening
- Oversee daily execution, prep, sanitation, and service standards
- Develop and mentor back-of-house staff in a supportive, fast-paced environment
- Uphold consistency and quality across elevated pub fare and Southern-inspired menus
Executive Chef Qualifications:
- 2+ years as Executive Chef in an upscale casual, scratch kitchen
- NRO experience preferred
- Strong kitchen systems, team leadership, and quality control background
- Passionate about food and people—no egos, no pretense
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Executive Chef compensation:
- $70K–$80K base + bonus
- 100% employer-paid health insurance
