Accountant – Multi-Unit Fast-Casual Concept

Join a fast-growing, multi-location fast-casual brand as a Finance Manager/Accountant. This pivotal role will oversee financial operations across all locations, supporting strategic growth through accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance. Ideal for a hospitality-savvy finance professional, this role is key to ensuring the company’s continued financial health and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for cost control and revenue growth
• Track key financial metrics such as cash flow, profit margins, and expenses

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Develop and maintain budgets across all five locations
• Conduct monthly forecasting and variance analysis with actionable insights

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms when possible

Cash Flow Management

• Oversee daily cash reconciliation and bank deposits
• Monitor cash flow across all locations to ensure liquidity and working capital stability

Compliance & Auditing

• Ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial policies, and accounting best practices
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Supervise and support accounting staff, providing mentorship and performance feedback
• Work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership teams to streamline financial processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-location environments
• Proven track record managing financial operations across multiple business units
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and GAAP
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal abilities
• Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
