Accountant – Multi-Unit Fast-Casual Concept
Join a fast-growing, multi-location fast-casual brand as a Finance Manager/Accountant. This pivotal role will oversee financial operations across all locations, supporting strategic growth through accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance. Ideal for a hospitality-savvy finance professional, this role is key to ensuring the company’s continued financial health and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for cost control and revenue growth
- Track key financial metrics such as cash flow, profit margins, and expenses
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain budgets across all five locations
- Conduct monthly forecasting and variance analysis with actionable insights
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms when possible
Cash Flow Management
- Oversee daily cash reconciliation and bank deposits
- Monitor cash flow across all locations to ensure liquidity and working capital stability
Compliance & Auditing
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial policies, and accounting best practices
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Supervise and support accounting staff, providing mentorship and performance feedback
- Work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership teams to streamline financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-location environments
- Proven track record managing financial operations across multiple business units
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and GAAP
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal abilities
- Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
