Now Hiring: Culinary Coach – Growing Fast-Casual Concept

Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding fast-casual brand as a Culinary Coach, where you will play a critical role in training, mentoring, and elevating culinary teams across multiple locations. This hands-on position is ideal for a seasoned culinary professional passionate about recipe development, team growth, and maintaining high food quality standards across the board.

Responsibilities

Staff Training & Development

  • Lead comprehensive training programs for new kitchen team members
  • Mentor and support existing staff to elevate skills and maintain standards
  • Evaluate team performance and provide actionable feedback

Recipe Development & Implementation

  • Create and test new menu items in alignment with brand vision and guest preferences
  • Standardize recipes and preparation procedures for consistency across locations
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to evolve offerings based on market trends

Quality Control & Consistency

  • Conduct routine visits to locations to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
  • Monitor compliance with culinary standards and operational procedures
  • Resolve any kitchen challenges or quality concerns on-site

Operational Support

  • Assist in optimizing kitchen workflows and processes
  • Provide hands-on support during peak hours or special events

Travel & Location Oversight

  • Travel regularly to support and train teams across multiple units
  • Maintain strong working relationships with kitchen and management teams
  • Prepare reports and documentation following training visits

Qualifications

  • Culinary Arts degree or equivalent professional training
  • 5+ years in a culinary role, with 2+ years in a supervisory or training capacity
  • Experience in recipe development, menu planning, and kitchen management
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in various cooking methods and equipment
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities
  • Must be willing and able to travel between locations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
