We are seeking a Laser & Systems Service & Applications Engineer to provide technical solutions and superior customer service.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, engineering, or applications within industrial production/automation. (Experience with laser systems a plus)
- BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Science Engineering (or equivalent).
- •Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills.
- Proven ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences (engineers, operators, managers).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally. (Valid passport needed at time of hire)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for laser and system product lines, directly engaging with customers and the sales force.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Applications to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
- Validate new products, recommend improvements, and contribute to product specifications and marketing strategies.
- Develop technical marketing materials, such as datasheets and application notes.
- Support product launches and ongoing sales efforts through technical presentations and materials, including potential domestic and international travel.
