Chief Operating Officer – Lead Excellence in Senior Living
Salary: Up to $225K + Full Executive Benefits
Location: Award-Winning, Nonprofit CCRC Community

This is a rare opportunity to lead an award-winning, nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) known nationally for its commitment to exceptional care, innovation, and resident satisfaction.
About the Role
As Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee the full scope of operations for a single, highly respected nonprofit community. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for aligning operations with the organization's mission, driving performance, and ensuring the highest standards of care, hospitality, and financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight – Develop and implement operational strategies that support long-term organizational goals and values.
- Operational Excellence – Lead all departments including health services, hospitality, dining, facilities, and wellness to deliver outstanding service and care.
- Financial Leadership – Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management with a focus on long-term sustainability.
- Resident Experience – Champion a resident-centered culture that enhances quality of life and maintains top satisfaction ratings.
- Team Leadership – Mentor and develop department leaders, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Mission & Culture Stewardship – Uphold the values and nonprofit mission of the organization, fostering a purpose-driven, team-oriented environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of senior operational leadership experience, ideally within senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
- LNHA
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of nonprofit operational dynamics
- Proven ability to build high-performing teams and deliver measurable results
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, servant-leadership style
