We are looking for a Chief Engineer for our full-service hotel property. Candidates should have experience working in a hotel setting with plumbing, electrical, pools, and HVAC and should be versed in many different kinds of property maintenance.

Hotel Chief Engineer Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as a Chief Engineer or Director of Facilities for a hotel
  • 5+ years in building or property maintenance
  • Experience and knowledge with basic plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, and HVAC
  • Experience with groundskeeping
  • Experience with basic drywall and carpentry projects

Hotel Chief Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Manage building maintenance and preventative maintenance
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly
  • Communicate room outages to front desk and sales departments
  • Assess needs and repairs for large projects
  • Work with contractors and 3rd party vendors on cleaning and maintenance projects
