We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the team in Sherbrooke, Canada to accelerate revenue growth in AI-powered solutions and enterprise software. This position is centered on acquiring new clients across sectors such as financial services, cybersecurity, and high-performance computing. The right candidate will craft strategic sales initiatives, cultivate strong industry relationships, and utilize market intelligence to anticipate emerging trends. Additionally, they will work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure sales approaches align with evolving customer demands.

Senior Business Development Manager Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and French
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years in business development, specifically in selling engineering or technology applications, with a proven record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing six and seven-figure new client deals within a designated territory
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively with various functional teams (Development, Marketing, Product Management, etc.)
  • Proven ability to promote collaboration and coordination among personnel across multiple global locations
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify appropriate solutions for clients

Senior Business Development Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead the generation of new sales opportunities, formulating and executing strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Cultivate robust and cooperative relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and develop strategies for enhancement
  • Monitor industry trends and deliver regular competitor analyzes
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to synchronize sales strategies with product offerings and client needs
  • Develop and present advanced solution demonstrations tailored to identified customer requirements
  • Organize technical support for demonstrations, proofs of concept, evaluations, and training sessions
  • Collaborate with team members to create clear and compelling proposals, quotations, and value propositions for current and prospective clients
