As a Catering and Special Events Executive Chef, you'll have the chance to showcase your innovative thinking while supporting our team and driving business growth. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for high-level management decisions, including creating and enhancing top-tier culinary offerings.

You'll oversee every aspect of event menu creation, from initial planning to sales, onsite execution, and post-event evaluations. Your role will also involve hands-on event management, where you'll demonstrate to our team the level of excellence our clients expect.

Responsibilities/Qualifications for Catering Executive Chef:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Oversee all aspects of the culinary program, from menus to post-event assessments, recipe creation, menu planning, and plate presentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in various computer applications such as MS Office, Google Cloud, and catering/event software
  • Effectively utilize sales and event management software to maintain workflow and coordinate needs across culinary, sales, and warehouse teams.
  • Support the catering team in day-to-day operations, collaborating closely with sales and culinary team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage logistics for pre-event and post-event onsite catering items, including food station setup and other logistical requirements.
  • Serve as the culinary representative for the company and its brands
  • Offer guidance and feedback to team members, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring team engagement
  • Oversee the hiring process for back-of-house team members, providing thorough onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain food and labor costs at or below budgeted percentages
