We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to plan, direct, and organize the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts, subcontracts, modifications, patent and software license agreements, reseller agreements, and associated processes. The Contracts Manager will also generate and maintain standard terms and conditions of sale for all contracts and subcontracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all contract activities from proposal preparation to contract closeout (commercial and US Government)
- Review and negotiate subcontract agreement terms
- Develop negotiation strategies for contractual issues and participate in negotiation teams
- Ensure contract requirements are communicated effectively within Program Teams
- Analyze significant contract requirements, special provisions, and terms to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 10+ years of contract administration/management experience in the military/defense industry.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFAR/DoD contract regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Experience negotiating Intellectual Property clauses.
- Knowledge of ITAR laws.
- Proven experience in preparing large Cost Proposals.
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a SECRET security clearance as per government contract requirements
