General Manager Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary of $55,000 – $58,000, plus the opportunity to earn performance bonuses up to 1% of store sales (average $15,000 bonus per year).

General Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily functions.
  • Hire, train, and mentor staff to enhance team performance and retention.
  • Maintain a customer-first approach, ensuring every guest receives top-tier service.
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and strategize to meet revenue goals.
  • Enforce health, safety, and food quality regulations to maintain high standards.
  • Oversee ordering, stock levels, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency.
  • Quickly address challenges and implement proactive solutions to improve restaurant operations.
  • Track key performance indicators and optimize processes for sustained growth.

General Manager Qualifications:

  • Passionate about leading by example and inspiring a team.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced environment while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to engage with staff and customers alike.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and legally work in the U.S. A valid driver’s license is also required.
  • Two or more years of restaurant experience, particularly in leadership roles. ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.
