Structural Engineer Key Skills:

• Technical Expertise:
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design, with a strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ADM, ACI, AISC, ASCE, DOT, IBC)
  • Proficiency in Autocad Inventor for designing and detailing engineered solutions
  • Knowledge of structural materials, fabrication processes, and drafting principles
• Leadership and Project Management:
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects through their entire lifecycle
  • Experience in developing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and ensuring on-time completion
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Industry Knowledge:
  • Experience in the marine construction industry and familiarity with aluminum design standards is a plus
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between design, production, and operations teams
  • Skilled in providing technical support to sales teams, customers, and contractors
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and engineering firms
• Independence and Initiative:
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, document processes, and adapt quickly to new challenges
  • Resourceful in identifying and implementing industry best practices
