Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Retail Buyer to join our team. The Retail Buyer will be responsible for selecting and purchasing merchandise that aligns with customer preferences and market trends. You will evaluate supplier offerings, negotiate contracts, manage inventory levels, and analyze sales data to optimize product assortments. In this role, you will collaborate with vendors, manage purchase orders, and track product performance to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and purchase merchandise that meets customer demands
- Evaluate supplier offerings and negotiate contracts
- Manage inventory levels to meet demand and prevent overstock
- Analyze sales data and adjust assortments to improve performance
- Collaborate with vendors and maintain strong relationships
- Manage purchase orders and track product performance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Retail Buyer or in a similar role
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Familiarity with inventory management and retail merchandising
- Excellent communication and vendor relationship management skills
