The Acquisition of Claims Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating the purchase of insurance claims. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills to build pipelines, assess claims, and execute acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to identify and acquire insurance claims from insurers
- Analyze claims for viability, value, and settlement potential through due diligence
- Negotiate and execute claims purchase agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline acquisitions and manage acquired claim resolutions
- Maintain relationships with insurers, brokers, and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven track record of building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilties
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Familiarity with reinsurance markets, products, and underwriting principles
- 3+ years in claims management, reinsurance, or insurance acquisition
- Strong skills in claim analysis, negotiation, and portfolio evaluation
- Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance principles; familiarity with claims systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (CPCU/ARe a plus)
