We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our Oracle-based data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in Oracle databases and a collaborative spirit, supporting our organization's data-driven initiatives and operational excellence.

Database Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Management & Maintenance: Oversee Oracle database operations, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and regular backups.
  • Data Architecture & Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop scalable Oracle database solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • ETL Processes: Design and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows for Oracle environments, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Data Warehousing: Build and maintain Oracle data warehouses to enable advanced analytics and business intelligence efforts.
  • Governance & Security: Implement and enforce Oracle database governance policies, security protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Oracle database operations through performance tuning, indexing, and system scalability improvements.
  • Automation & Collaboration: Develop automated processes, reports, and tools while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet data needs.

Database Administrator Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role, with a focus on Oracle databases.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Database technologies, including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN.
  • Strong SQL expertise and experience with PL/SQL scripting.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell; familiarity with Java or R is a plus.
