The Coating Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on company equipment. This role includes facility-based and field service assignments to ensure safe, efficient operations and quality job completion. Supervision of technicians and job sites may be required based on management's discretion.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain coating, blasting, and related equipment.
- Communicate with customers to address issues and coordinate coating training.
- Perform equipment assembly, dismantling, lubrication, and testing.
- Use diagnostic tools to test and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and maintain diesel engines.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support customers.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- FBE or liquid coating experience (preferred); NACE CIP I certification (preferred).
- Onshore/offshore pipeline industry and OD coating experience (preferred).
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and passport eligibility.
- English fluency (Spanish bilingual preferred).
