General Manager – Upscale Dining Restaurant

We are seeking a highly accomplished General Manager to lead the daily operations of our upscale dining establishment north of the Atlanta metro. This role calls for a hospitality-driven leader with deep fine-dining expertise, advanced wine knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The General Manager serves as the operational and cultural leader of the restaurant, responsible for driving performance across all areas of the business including team development, service excellence, financial performance, and brand standards. This individual will lead by example on the floor, cultivate a culture of accountability and hospitality, and ensure every guest experience reflects the restaurant’s elevated service philosophy.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of General Manager experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in wine service, curated wine lists, and pairing recommendations
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing hospitality teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, labor costs, and food & beverage cost controls
  • Track record of maintaining exceptional service standards and high guest satisfaction scores
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with a visible presence on the dining room floor

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all restaurant functions, ensuring seamless day-to-day execution and exceptional service standards
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing hospitality team while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and guest-first service
  • Maintain full ownership of financial performance including P&L management, labor optimization, and cost of goods control
  • Analyze financial reports and operational metrics to identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  • Drive revenue growth through service excellence, team engagement, and strong awareness of local market dynamics
  • Uphold and continuously elevate service standards to deliver a refined and memorable dining experience
  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure consistent product quality and supply chain efficiency
  • Support the development and execution of the restaurant’s wine and beverage program, including inventory management and cost controls
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to service staff on wine knowledge, pairing recommendations, and elevated guest engagement
