In this high-impact role, you will manage multiple projects at a time—from base plans and permitting through construction and community build days—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification. You will play a key role in transforming underutilized land into thriving green spaces that support long-term sustainability and community engagement.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee contractors and infrastructure installation (water, irrigation, solar).
  • Manage permits, zoning compliance, and project documentation.
  • Translate design intent into buildable plans and field execution.
  • Track budgets, schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, suppliers, and community stakeholders.
  • Support public engagement throughout the construction process.

Project Manager Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in landscape construction, design/architecture, and/or park development (degree preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from design through completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, permitting, and field coordination.
  • Must be able to read and interpret site plans
  • Experience with CAD and Adobe Creative Suite (GIS a plus).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Passion for sustainable design, urban agriculture, and community collaboration is essential.
