Executive Pastry Chef – Luxury Private Club

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing pastry and baking team, fostering a culture of creativity, precision, and accountability
  • Oversee all pastry operations including desserts, breads, breakfast pastries, confections, plated desserts, and specialty items for dining outlets, banquets, and member events
  • Design and execute seasonal, innovative menus that reflect luxury standards, current trends, and member preferences
  • Maintain exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation across all pastry offerings
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership to align pastry programs with overall culinary vision and club standards
  • Manage production schedules to support à la carte service, high-volume events, weddings, and specialty functions
  • Ensure proper ordering, inventory control, and cost management to meet financial goals and minimize waste
  • Uphold strict sanitation, food safety, and compliance standards at all times
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members, with a focus on skill advancement, technique, and career growth
  • Establish standardized recipes, plating guides, and production systems to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and innovations in pastry arts and baking
  • Maintain strong communication with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional member experiences

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive pastry leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end clubs
  • Strong background in classical and contemporary pastry techniques, baking, chocolate work, and showpieces
  • Proven ability to lead teams in both high-volume and detail-driven environments
  • Solid financial acumen including food cost control, labor management, and budgeting
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Passion for creativity, innovation, and delivering elevated guest experiences
  • Culinary or pastry degree preferred, but not required with equivalent experience
