We are seeking an experienced and driven Machining Manager to lead all machining operations within our growing manufacturing organization. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing approximately 35 machinists and supervisors across conventional machining, CNC milling (up to 5-axis), high-speed micro milling, CNC Swiss turning, and manual machining. If you are a hands-on machining leader who understands both the technical and financial side of manufacturing with the ability to drive performance, accountability, and operational excellence, we want to speak with you!

Machining Manager Qualifications
- 10+ years of machining experience
- 5+ years proven leadership experience managing large teams (30+ employees)
- Strong background in CNC, Swiss, conventional, and multi-axis machining
- Experience managing production schedules and multiple simultaneous projects
- Financial understanding and experience managing budgets and job profitability
- Experience supporting quoting and client cost discussions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Global Shop Solutions, and Mastercam
- Strong business mindset and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Machining Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 35 machinists and supervisors
- Manage daily production operations for efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
- Own production scheduling and project timelines
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee departmental budgets and labor efficiency
- Support quoting and cost estimation for new and repeat jobs
- Ensure jobs stay within budgeted hours and material costs
- Utilize Global Shop Solutions to track performance
- Leverage Microsoft Excel for forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis
- Collaborate with programming teams using Mastercam
- Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and accountability
