We are looking for a Resort Hospitality Operations Manager plays a central role in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience to guests at our small lakefront resort. This position is primarily guest-focused and responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting a small concession and retail area, and assisting with light housekeeping to ensure accommodations and common areas reflect the welcoming standards of the resort.

The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable multitasking in a small team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitie

Resort Hospitality Operations Manager

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after their stay
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and professionally
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with reservations
  • Provide information about resort amenities, policies, lake activities, and local attractions
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and courteously
  • Maintain accurate guest records, payments, and daily reports
  • Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are organized, clean, and welcoming at all times

Concession & Retail Operations

  • Operate and oversee the small on-site concession and retail area
  • Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
  • Stock merchandise, snacks, beverages, and guest supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
  • Maintain attractive, organized displays and clean retail areas
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to guests purchasing items

Light Housekeeping & Property Presentation

  • Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed, including preparing cabins for arrival
  • Refresh guest rooms and common areas to maintain cleanliness and comfort
  • Restock guest amenities and supplies
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure spaces meet hospitality standards
  • Support overall property presentation to maintain a welcoming environment
  • Assist with general groundskeeping as needed such as trash removal, light landscaping, and maintaining walkways and lakefront areas
  • Help maintain docks and waterfront as needed in areas to ensure safety and cleanliness
  • Report maintenance issues beyond scope to management and coordinate follow-up as directed
