Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

1–2 years of restaurant management experience (scratch kitchen experience preferred)
Bilingual abilities
Hospitality degree is a plus
ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain quickly)
Open availability, including days, nights, and weekends
Strong leadership and communication skills

Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Experience in high-volume restaurant settings
Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices
Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage pressure effectively
Passion for hospitality and delivering an exceptional guest experience
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction
Lead, motivate, and coach your team to maintain a positive and accountable work culture
Manage inventory, food and labor costs, and uphold all quality and safety standards
Build strong relationships with your team, guests, and vendors
Support staff development to help every team member perform at their best
