We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead operations for an exciting new restaurant concept. This is a hands-on leadership role for a dynamic professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at coaching and developing teams, and ensures operational excellence. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive service quality, team performance, and day-to-day restaurant operations, helping shape the culture and success of a brand-new concept.

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and overall team leadership
Lead and develop front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Ensure high-quality guest experiences through consistent service standards
Monitor labor, inventory, and operational costs to maintain efficiency and profitability
Oversee compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies
Assist with opening new locations, including training teams and implementing systems
Communicate effectively with all departments to resolve operational challenges
Maintain accurate reporting and operational records

Assistant General Manager Requirements

Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role
Hands-on leadership in full-service, fast-casual, or high-volume independent restaurants
Strong team development, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
Experience managing labor, inventory, and operational budgets
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-location, or new-concept restaurant environments
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and high-volume service periods
Excellent communication and organizational skills
