Coverage Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute litigation strategy for insurance coverage disputes and class actions
- Analyze insurance policies, claims, and coverage issues; provide coverage advice
- Conduct advanced legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and motions
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests, interrogatories, and other litigation documents
- Take and defend depositions; attend court hearings and mediations
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals
Coverage Litigation Attorney Requirements:
- Admission to practice in New York (New Jersey admission preferred)
- 5–10 years of insurance coverage litigation experience
- Strong experience handling depositions and discovery
- State and federal court litigation experience
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters
