Project Manager – Restoration Services – Greater Boston, MA

Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction, disaster relief, or related field
  • At least 2 years managing restoration projects preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience overseeing multiple crews and projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with insurance carriers, claims documentation, and billing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and iPad-based applications
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Xactimate and square footage billing experience is a plus

Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Proficiency with DocuSketch or similar documentation software
  • Leadership, team management, and customer service strengths
  • “No problem” mindset and proactive, solution-oriented attitude

Project Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee full life cycle of restoration projects from initial assessment to final closeout
  • Supervise and support 3–5 field teams at active job sites
  • Develop and communicate detailed scopes of work (written, sketches, and 3-D imaging)
  • Prepare bids, participate in pricing negotiations, and manage project timelines
  • Conduct moisture mapping, daily progress reports, and safety meetings
  • Review and approve crew documentation, job paperwork, and internal billing
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and perform final walkthroughs/inspections
  • Present invoices to customers and manage payment follow-ups
  • Serve in a rotating on-call capacity for emergency response needs
