Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum NACI/SF85 background investigation eligibility
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Must Haves:

  • Serve as the primary Contract Manager responsible for overall HVAC REOS contract performance
  • Oversee HVAC system design reviews, commissioning, and re-commissioning activities
  • Lead development and execution of Quality Control Plans, Work Progress Schedules, and Monthly Status Reports
  • Apply engineering judgment to resolve complex HVAC operational, design, construction, and commissioning issues
  • Ensure compliance with Engineering Technical Letters, Unified Facilities Criteria, and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications

Preferred Background & Skills:

  • 10+ years of HVAC system design, construction, and operational experience
  • 5+ years as a senior engineer overseeing multi-disciplinary HVAC efforts
  • Extensive Testing and Balancing (TAB) and commissioning experience
  • Strong knowledge of energy modeling, load calculations, system selection, and equipment sizing
  • Experience with direct digital controls and building management systems
  • Familiarity with DoD mechanical codes and criteria governing HVAC systems
