Electrical Engineer – Dayton, OH
Full-Time | On-Site | $115,000–$130,000 per year
We are hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer to join our Dayton, Ohio team. This is a great opportunity to apply your hands-on engineering skills in a well-established, fast-moving company focused on industrial furnace systems, refractory technologies, and high-temperature manufacturing solutions.

Electrical Engineer Benefits and Compensation:
- Salary range: $115,000 to $130,000 per year

Electrical Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics and enclosure layouts using AutoCAD
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC control systems and relay logic
- Build or support control panels and electrical system startups
- Order parts and components based on project specs and schematics
- Support field installation teams and customer service teams
- Troubleshoot AC/DC control circuits and high-voltage systems (240V / 480V)
- Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to meet deadlines
Electrical Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
- At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software (1+ years)
- Understanding of PLC programming and electrical panel design
- Comfortable with single-phase and three-phase power systems
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for occasional site visits
Preferred Experience (not required):
- Experience with combustion systems
- Familiarity with GE Fanuc Robots, Roboguide, and DCS systems
- Arc flash safety or risk assessment knowledge
Work Environment:
- On-site role based at our Dayton, OH office
- Mix of engineering office and light industrial workspace
- Occasional travel to customer sites (regional)
