We’re partnering with a growing casino and resort operator undergoing a $150M+ expansion, including a newly built hotel, rooftop restaurant, and multiple phased development projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on construction execution and capital project delivery, working directly with the CEO. This role requires relocation to Eastern Iowa and is on site.
What This Role Is (and Is Not)
This role is:
Leading construction and development execution
Managing capital projects from planning through delivery
Working directly with contractors, architects, and ownership
Driving timelines, budgets, and project outcomes
This role is not:
Investment / acquisitions / capital markets
Design-only or FF&E-focused
Advisory or consulting
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead execution of large-scale capital projects (hotel, F&B, resort amenities)
- Manage general contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and construction timelines
- Act as the owner’s representative across all phases of development
- Partner directly with the CEO on project execution and planning
- Navigate permitting, zoning, and local approvals
What We’re Looking For
- Experience leading construction or development projects ($20M+ preferred)
- Background in hospitality, resorts, casinos, or multi-unit commercial projects
- Strong experience managing GCs, budgets, and timelines
- Ability to operate in a hands-on, onsite leadership role
Location & Structure
- This is a fully onsite role in eastern Iowa
- Relocation is required
- This role is tied to active construction and development projects
