Employment Associate Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination, wage and hour, non-compete, and breach of contract matters
  • Represent clients before state and federal courts and administrative agencies
  • Advise employers on employment law compliance and day-to-day workplace issues
  • Draft employment policies, agreements, and related documentation
  • Conduct internal workplace investigations
  • Deliver employment law training and compliance programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams to support client needs

Employment Associate Requirements

  • JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admission or eligibility for admission in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 4 years of employment law experience
  • Experience litigating employment matters in courts and administrative forums
  • Strong background advising employers on compliance and HR-related issues
  • Experience drafting employment policies and agreements
  • Experience conducting investigations and delivering training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to work in-office approximately 60% of the time

Employment Associate Benefits
