Director of Finance – Loveland, CO

Director of Finance Benefits & Compensation

• Annual salary of $90,000–$105,000 plus bonus eligibility

Director of Finance Requirements & Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in public accounting or financial management, including supervisory or department head roles
• Strong knowledge of general and accrual accounting principles
• Excellent math, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience managing teams and supervising staff
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
• Must pass background and credit check

Director of Finance Preferred Background & Skills

• CPA or MBA
• Venue, hospitality, or entertainment industry experience
• Proficiency with ADP payroll, AXS ticketing, NetSuite accounting, Coupa, and Microsoft Office

Director of Finance Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead all financial, accounting, purchasing, and internal control operations for the venue
• Supervise Finance Department and Box Office employees, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial statement preparation
• Review and manage contracts, event settlements, vendor agreements, and financial reporting
• Analyze financial performance, cost structures, and recommend actions for business success
• Collaborate with department managers on annual budget development, forecasting, and compliance
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, audit preparation, and risk management coordination
• Address staff development, performance appraisals, and HR-related matters in partnership with Human Resources
