Executive Chef

$100,000–$110,000 Base Salary + Huge Bonus Potential

Location: Nashville, TN

Join a thriving fine dining restaurant in the heart of Nashville, where Italian culinary tradition meets high-volume excellence. This is a leadership role for a hands-on Executive Chef who’s passionate about food, team culture, and delivering consistently exceptional experiences.

Executive Chef Benefits & Compensation

  • Base Salary: $100,000–$110,000

Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2+ years as Executive Chef in a high-volume ($6M+ annual sales) fine dining environment with tenures of no less than 2 years in previous roles
  • Strong background in Italian cuisine; menu development, execution, and sourcing
  • Proven ability to manage kitchen operations at scale, including labor and food cost controls
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Experienced in training, mentoring, and retaining kitchen talent
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills

Executive Chef Must Haves

  • Leads from the front- hands on, visible, and engaged during prep and service
  • Upholds a clean, professional, organized, and system-driven kitchen
  • Creates and enforces prep lists, labeling, and rotation procedures
  • Conducts consistent line checks and quality control across all stations
  • Brings a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to daily service and team leadership
  • Balances quality and speed in a high-volume setting without compromising standards

Preferred Background & Skills

  • Culinary degree or formal training (preferred but not required)
  • Experience working in Italian Restaurant Concepts is a must
  • Experience working in the New York market or comparable fine dining scenes
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Familiarity with BOH platforms for ordering, inventory, and scheduling
