Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – Site / Civil Engineering

Relocation Assistance Available

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join a growing, highly collaborative multidisciplinary firm led by licensed professionals in civil engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture. The firm is known for delivering innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions, supported by advanced design and surveying technologies and a strong commitment to excellence.

This is an opportunity for a motivated engineer to take full ownership of complex site/civil projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and play a meaningful role in the firm’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical and managerial leadership for site/civil projects from initial concept through construction and closeout
Serve as Engineer of Record, delivering senior-level technical oversight, quality control, and constructability reviews
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including project engineers, landscape architects, consultants, and subconsultants
Prepare, review, and approve engineering reports, site plans, specifications, and complex design calculations
Oversee site inspections, construction administration, and field coordination to ensure compliance with design intent, codes, and standards
Manage permitting processes and represent projects before reviewing agencies and regulatory authorities
Support project scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
Mentor and develop junior engineering staff while contributing to firm-wide technical standards and best practices

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
7–15 years of progressive site/civil engineering experience
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State, or eligibility to obtain NY licensure (relocation assistance available)
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
Proven ability to lead projects, interface with clients and regulatory agencies, and manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative leadership style
