General Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure that our customers receive an experience that exceeds industry standards each and every time
- Build and oversee a TEAM that includes assistant managers, lead technicians, and certified technicians who will perform light-duty preventive maintenance services on personal and fleet vehicles such as: Full-service oil changes, engine and cabin air filter replacement, wiper blade replacement, fluid exchange services, and tire pressure adjustment
- Effectively communicate the benefits of our products and services to the customers while addressing their needs
- Constantly develop your TEAM members, maintaining an open line of communication, and ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality control at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies
- Maintain an open-door policy with our hands-on District Manager to ensure current company policy, goals, and budgets are always met
- Strategically handle all customer complaints
- Monitor security systems for quality control
- Communicate with outside vendors (inventory, uniforms, oil pickup)
- Help develop and implement marketing and car growth strategies such as roadside advertising, local marketing, and growing small business accounts
- Maintain shop expectations and rules at all times
General Manager Requirements:
- Will bring positive energy and be ready to work as part of a winning TEAM
- Eager to learn, improve, train, and develop
- Automotive experience preferred
- Ability to develop and train TEAM members
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Have full mobility and can stand for extended periods of time
- Have the desire to provide an exceptional customer experience while having fun!
