General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel or resort management, with a track record of excellence in guest service
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for engaging with clients
Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems and think outside the box
Experience in mentoring and developing a diverse team
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and operational costs

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the resort, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction
Cultivate relationships with guests, actively seeking feedback and resolving issues to enhance their experience
Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency
Collaborate with ownership and department heads to set and achieve short-term and long-term goals
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the resort operates within its financial plans
