An independently owned, ultra-luxury resort destination—featuring championship golf, a world-class spa and medspa, fine dining, and curated guest experiences—is seeking an accomplished Director of Activities to oversee all guest recreation, lifestyle programming, and seasonal offerings.

Director of Activities – Benefits & Compensation

  • $170,000–$190,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
  • Annual performance-based bonus
  • Comprehensive relocation assistance package

Director of Activities – Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in luxury resort recreation, activities, or wellness operations
  • Proven background in golf, spa/medspa, or high-end recreational environments
  • Experience managing budgets, operations, and high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest-experience design

Must Haves

  • Oversight of recreation, activities, fitness, or outdoor programming in a luxury setting
  • Ability to curate seasonal programming and experiential activity calendars
  • Strong collaboration with culinary, lodging, spa, and marketing teams
  • Hands-on leadership with a visible, guest-focused presence

Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in independently owned or privately managed luxury resorts
  • Exposure to wellness programming, medspa integration, or holistic guest offerings
  • Background in golf resort operations or outdoor/adventure recreation
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation, or Business Administration preferred

Deal Breakers

  • Long hair for men
  • Facial hair for men (mustache only, neatly trimmed)
  • No facial piercings or visible tattoos
  • No unnaturally colored hair
