Buyer Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
MUST BE willing to relocate to the New England area
Minimum 5+ years of buying experience, including roles as Associate Buyer and Buyer (not Assistant Buyer).
Progressive experience in merchandising or buying roles, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
Proven expertise in vendor negotiations and relationship management.
Strong understanding of market trends, pricing, and fashion to make strategic decisions that drive sales and improve gross margin.
Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Buyer Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Negotiate favorable terms and build win-win vendor partnerships.
Drive measurable outcomes and enhance business performance through strategic buying decisions.
Assess complex issues and make timely, sound decisions to support product selection.
Develop strategic relationships and networks to achieve business goals.
Collaborate effectively across teams to influence and adapt to shared outcomes.
