Senior Kitchen Manager Responsibilities

Lead, train, and coach the kitchen team with a hands-on, positive approach
Build respectful relationships with team members while holding them accountable with integrity
Maintain high culinary and operational standards with attention to detail
Partner with the team to deliver an unforgettable guest experience every time
Oversee smooth daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Manage portion control, recipe execution, prep list completion, and waste reduction
Ensure strict compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines

Senior Kitchen Manager Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef in a full-service, high-volume, scratch kitchen
Strong, proven leadership skills with a “lead by example” style
Experience with inventory management and ordering
A coach-minded leader who thrives in fast-paced settings
Ability to maintain consistent standards, exceed expectations, and inspire the team
Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on work ethic
