Senior Kitchen Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and coach the kitchen team with a hands-on, positive approach
  • Build respectful relationships with team members while holding them accountable with integrity
  • Maintain high culinary and operational standards with attention to detail
  • Partner with the team to deliver an unforgettable guest experience every time
  • Oversee smooth daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Manage portion control, recipe execution, prep list completion, and waste reduction
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines

Senior Kitchen Manager Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef in a full-service, high-volume, scratch kitchen
  • Strong, proven leadership skills with a “lead by example” style
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering
  • A coach-minded leader who thrives in fast-paced settings
  • Ability to maintain consistent standards, exceed expectations, and inspire the team
  • Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on work ethic
