Director of Food & Beverage – Exciting New Opening | Portland, Oregon
We’re seeking an experienced Director of Food & Beverage to lead operations for an exciting new multi-level restaurant and event space. This is an opportunity to build and shape a dynamic dining destination from the ground up, overseeing all aspects of food, beverage, and guest experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in upscale restaurant operations, with experience managing multiple outlets, events, and high-volume service while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and events
- Develop and implement service standards to ensure a top-tier guest experience
- Collaborate with culinary and bar teams to curate innovative menus and beverage programs
- Lead, train, and inspire a service-focused team
- Manage budgets, costs, and inventory while driving profitability
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in upscale, high-volume restaurant environments
- Strong event management and multi-outlet operational experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and team development skills
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
