Hospitality Sales Director Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in hospitality sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving market share growth
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and scaling a sales team
  • Deep understanding of the hospitality industry, including corporate, group, and leisure markets
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to Cincinnati
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable automobile
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity
  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure with multiple deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead by example and take initiative
  • Must be able to lift weights of 20 lbs, 55 lbs, and 165 lbs occasionally

Hospitality Sales Director Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain a robust network of corporate clients
  • Experience in executing events and managing event coordination
  • Knowledge of community and hospitality industry networking events
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to fostering a positive team culture
