General Manager – Quick Service Restaurant

General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of general manager experience in quick service or high-volume restaurant settings (preferably $2M+ revenue)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven ability to manage P&L and drive profitability
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to brand standards
  • Manage full P&L responsibility, analyzing financial reports and implementing action plans for growth
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, building a positive and high-performing work environment
  • Ensure high standards of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead exceptional guest service efforts, promptly resolving concerns and driving customer satisfaction
  • Control inventory, waste, and labor scheduling to meet operational targets
