Commercial Lines Account Manager
Fort Myers / Naples, FL | Onsite
$60,000–$80,000 Base + Commission + Bonus
A growing independent insurance agency in Southwest Florida is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its team in Fort Myers or Naples, FL.

You will serve as a primary point of contact for commercial clients, helping them navigate renewals, policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and day-to-day service needs while ensuring they have the right coverage in place to protect their businesses.

What You’ll Do
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients and serve as a trusted day-to-day resource
- Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their businesses and evolving insurance needs
- Handle renewals from start to finish, including gathering information, preparing proposals, and negotiating with carriers
- Process endorsements, policy changes, and certificates accurately and efficiently
- Respond promptly to client questions, service requests, and claims-related issues
- Partner with underwriters and carriers to secure competitive terms and coverage solutions
- Stay current on industry trends, market changes, and relevant legislation
- Help ensure clients are properly covered across key lines including General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Property
What They’re Looking For
- Experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing insurance role, ideally within commercial lines
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, especially General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Property
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Proficiency with agency management systems and standard office software
- AMS360 experience is preferred, but not required
- A service-minded professional who enjoys building positive relationships with both clients and carriers
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary from $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience
