Private Chef (Live-In)
We are seeking an experienced Private Chef for a private residence in a live-in role. This position offers a stable, long-term opportunity for a chef who enjoys preparing clean, healthy meals in a private home environment and values professionalism, discretion, and consistency.
This role focuses on preparing pescatarian, health-focused dinners four evenings per week, with occasional small dinner gatherings and light oversight of the residence when the principals are traveling.
Private Chef Benefits and Compensation:
· $70,000–$80,000 annual salary
· Live-in accommodations provided
· Health insurance starting immediately
· 401(k) eligibility after one year
Private Chef Requirements and Qualifications:
· Prepare healthy pescatarian dinners four nights per week (no bread or desserts) and manage menu planning and grocery sourcing
· Execute two small dinner gatherings per month for 6–10 guests with thoughtful presentation and service
· Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and uphold professional standards within a private residence
· Prior private chef experience required with a stable work history (contract roles acceptable); must enjoy cats
Private Chef Preferred Background & Skills:
· Experience preparing healthy, pescatarian or wellness-focused cuisine
· Background working in private homes or estate environments with discretion and professionalism
· Strong organization, planning, and ability to operate independently in a residential kitchen
· Long-term mindset with excellent reliability, communication, and attention to detail.
