Sous Chef Requirements

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a back-of-house leadership role
  • ServSafe certification is required (can be received in-house)
  • Ability to read and write in English

Sous Chef Responsibilities

  • Assist with menu development
  • Ordering and receiving
  • Provide training, direction, development, and accountability to the culinary team
  • Control food and labor costs as it relates to the culinary operation
