Our client is looking for a Flow Cytometry Sales Representative to join their growing team. The Flow Cytometry Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and closing new flow cytometry business opportunities in academic, clinical research, and bio-pharma labs.
This is for the New York Territory.
Flow Cytometry Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Achieve financial objectives within the assigned territory by effectively identifying and supporting scientists in making decisions when purchasing flow cytometry equipment.
- Responsible for technical in-lab demonstrations, pre & post-sales support, marketing and feedback, and customer satisfaction relative to sales activities.
- Understand the technical and application needs of the customers and align those needs with the appropriate instrument, reagent, software, and service packages.
- Manage administrative sales duties including monitoring expenses to budget, timely administrative activity reporting, provide internal feedback regarding competitive products, adhering to OHSA, and Universal Lab precautions.
- Lead generation activities by participating in state, regional, and national meetings as directed by Sales Management.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or closely related discipline is required.
- 5+ years of medical device sales experience
- 3+ years of flow cytometry experience.
- Previous experience in selling IVD and/or hematology equipment in the NY region
- Home-based position with regional travel to customers' sites 3-4 days a week.
