Senior Project Manager – Construction
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead complex, ground-up construction projects in the multi-family, senior living, and K-12 sectors. This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional who can independently run large-scale projects while mentoring project teams. Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Maintain full ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial reporting
- Oversee and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field teams
- Manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards across all projects
- Drive successful execution of self-performed work including concrete, carpentry, and structural trades
- Utilize project management software such as MS Project, Procore, and Viewpoint
Senior Project Manager Qualifications:
- Typically 10–12+ years of experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager
- Proven experience leading $35M+ ground-up construction projects
- Strong background in self-performed construction (development-only backgrounds not preferred)
- Experience in multi-family, senior living, and/or K-12 construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Certifications (OSHA, PMP, LEED) are a plus but not required
